Matt, I think you’re right, there’s no need to be very mean-spirited. Digsby is free, and there is no advertising. So people, if you want to complain, be tactful about it.

I’m not a fan of the new Twitter interface and I hope it goes back to the old way.

@ Naitzirk, I don’t think it would be a good idea for Digsby to add Skype capability. Skype is way too big of a program, unless you’re just expecting IM. If Digsby adds video and audio chat, they’d have to do the same for AIM, Yahoo, etc. and then it just becomes way too bulky at that point.

Digsby, you do a great job, but remember… there’s a point where too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing. Keep things simple. Digsby is great for people who have accounts on multiple services and need a QUICK, SIMPLE way to access those services from one program, concurrently. But we don’t need ALL the bells and whistles of ALL the services. If I want to do a video chat on AIM or Yahoo, I still have to run their actual program. And that’s fine. Likewise, if I really needed to see Twitter updates in a separate window, I’d just go to Twitter’s website. The new addition is excessive. Trim the fat. Let’s keep things nice and lean.
