Please help as this problem is driving me nutz.
I have Build 19635, I still receive the authentication error and failed to connect errors. When I load Digsby, all the build updates were done, these errors still occur. Can I download the updates from Digsby as opposed to loading the software?
  • @ARZ: At the top of the IM window there is a "Call" or "Video" button that lets you have an audio/video chat with your buddies. We partnered with with TokBox to provide this functionality and they have a new version of their product. This new release switches to that version.
  • ARZ
@ Steve can you please elaborate on what this feature is for and how to use it?

    * Implemented a new version of TokBox for audio/video chat.
  • @Brandleycorn: We're doing 2 public releases with bug fixes. We do several alpha releases including this one between public releases.

    Hey Steve,

Just curious is this #1 of the 2 remaining bug fix updates before you guys start devoting more time to new features (like group chat)? I know you've said on several occasions that there are 2 more bug fix releases coming, and then it's back to features ... Just wondering if this #1 of those 2?

    Overheard on the news:

"...on this historic day, we have come one step closer to bringing peace to the middle east, as Palestinians and Israelis alike are finally able to correctly enter right-to-left messages into Digsby's input box.
Not everyone is as optimistic, however. There are already skeptics on both sides, demanding correct RTL support in the conversation window and beyond. It remains unknown at the time whether we will live to see that day, but we can hope. And in other news..."

Kudos and thanks, from the Israeli userbase.

GMail is not working for me.. I'm still waiting for that update..
  • The fallback authentication method does not allow for auto-login to the Gmail website but if you are already logged in the "Inbox",
"Compose", and "Open" links will work. We decided that getting the bulk of the functionality back for users who it was no longer working for was good enough to push as a release and we're looking into how to bring back auto-login as well.
  • Terry
I'm finding that when you click on Inbox for GMail now it does not automatically log you in as I believe it did before this bug patch.

If that is something that has to be given up because of the login issues I don't have a problem with it, just wanted to make you aware.

    Quite a busy week :)

You don't get much free time.
Thanks for this patch. Gmail now works fine with me.
  • The Gmail update fixed the authentication problem.
  • Zak
    Works perfectly, as usual :)
  • Jeremy Bronson
Thanks! Just a heads up, I restarted with the update - I still get the digsby popup announcement about Gmail server authentication (which I assume this update fixed).
