Is this a hint that a premium version is in consideration? I like Digsby and don’t mind promoting it, but where is the money for the affiliates coming from? Offering to pay out on signups to a free service can quickly get hairy and I hope to see Digsby continue developing.

This really is a great program so I’m not suprised at it’s growth. I hope to see more expansion such as adding Bebo and a few others but it’s really great that I can keep up with my emails, my ims and my social networking through the one program. I tried some similar programs but they didn’t offer support or myspace friend updates. Top Notch job guys!

DIGSBY is fantastic and made me excited about IM-ing again after Trillian Pro disappointed me for years. Having said that, I have lost the use of my Facebook Chat for two weeks now and have been submitting Bug Reports periodically. I hope there’s a fix soon. FB Chat connects OK but the group and contact list just doesn’t appear and I appear online to my friends. Weird!

I hope the Linux port is made ready for release soon. It would make things a lot better and easier when IMing from Linux. Pidgin just doesn’t do it as good as Digsby does.

Congrats on the milestone! The affiliate program is an interesting idea and I plan to sign up. The “up to” $1 could be a little more clear, though. Can you shine a light on the average amount? (I’m interested in seeing how many friends I can get to sign up and then donating the proceeds to charity.)

Even though I occasionally run into a ‘Digsby is running slowly, submit report’ error, I must say Digsby has absolutely blown me away in terms of both reach and functionality from day one, and have been promoting it heavily ever after.
I will not be using the affliate program (you really should go spend the money on a drink to celebrate or something, instead), but I will continue promoting Digsby for now. If you’d have me wish for anything at all, it would probably be the Linux and Mac versions – if only because that would open up a whole new target group to show the wonders of this program.

Congrats on the Million Milestone. Ever since I stumbled upon Digsby a year back, I have been using it so much that I have lost the trace of the other messengers in the fray. All things put together.. that makes it awesome
The only requests from my side:
1. Introduce the Conference Chat, which is missing for quite long.
2. Introduce the Ability to push the Account bars at the bottom, just like the show/hide button in List of Accounts box. Saves those who have so many accounts configured, and see their account list occupying all the chat window.
3. Introduce Voice Chat, and support attachments from all clients.
4. and last but not least, Keep the Digsby free always

But i want to say something, that i don’t like very much. Once the new Smileys, they are like the one from Windows Live Messenger :-/ the old one i liked more.
Can you include something to search Contacs in the Contactlist? I always have to scroll a lot.
When someone is adding me to his list, and i get the popup to authorize, i’m not able to see who is it, only a number, can you fix that? like in the icq client.

Congrats on the 1 mil! While you are working on stuff I would like to be able to send one IM to many friends (like Yahoo does) at once. Kinda like an announcement feature. Also I think there should be seperate sets of emotes to corspond with each messenger. That’s all.

I’m a relatively new user to Digsby, and so far, I’ve been impressed with it extensive functionality. There is one important (to me) feature that I wish it had, which is the ability to have three levels of sorting. That way I can group by service and then by status and name.

I already promote Digsby quite happily (and payment by check is way messier than paypal so probably not worth getting into anyway) but the one feature I’d love to see is integrated FB chat so I don’t have to log in just to see if someone is active and chat with them (quite a few friends are abandoning Messenger for FB)

@Barry: Definitely. You become part of Neverblue’s publisher network so you can promote all the affiliate programs on it and not just Digsby. The screening process is a bit tedious but after you sign up an account manager will contact you personally to walk you through the process in case you made any mistakes on the form.
