Quick Fix Released
We just pushed a small update to everyone. It allows you to log in to Facebook if you have switched over to the new design. The release number is still 15142. In other news, we only have a few crashes left in the new release we have been working on and as soon as those are fixed it will be pushed to everyone.

Nice. Does that mean it’s time to start working on group chat?

not related to digsby but the new facebook is hideous!

hmmm .. it says no comments, yet there my comment is, for all to see …

Strangly enough this new update seems to cause Digsby to refuse my previous flawlessly working password with auto-login. So I tried the “forgot your email eh” function and that doesn’t seem to help either. Something gone buggy?

Works great thanks. But is there any way, when you click to open up anything like facebook or hotmail etc. to open up in a different tab then a different new window like the older digsby.

Facebook chat doesn’t work anymore.
It gets stuck at “Connecting…”
And I have been using the New Facebook for a while now – there was never any problem before, but apparently there is one now :\

Oh, Facebook Chat servers are down, it’s not Digsby’s fault =)
It’s back up now.

I can’t get Digsby to work now….. The auto-updater keeps timing out & closing >:(
Oz Said,

@KALMANI I’m pretty sure that can be achieved by tweaking a setting in your browser’s preferences (depending on your browser and version).

What does “It allows you to log in to Facebook if you have switched over to the new design. ”
What new design? New design at Facebook or in Digsby?
KALMANI Said,
September 16, 2008 @ 5:33 pm
@Oz Thank you, I thought I had changed but it had reverted back…Thanx again…Btw, Digsby works awesome for me & never had a problem with it besides the hotmail preview bug…otherwise its GOLDEN!!! TO THE OTHER USERS HAVING PROBLEMS: Check if any program is interfering with digsby which may cause it to crash, or servers to go down once in a while & yah it does happen – so some clients may not work at that time, & last but not least check your sytem or digsby settings again & tweak them to your desire & make sure everything is correct & you haven’t overlooked a thing…I’m out.

Funny, Digsby just crashed on me for the first time EVER…. after these two most recent patches. Going backward?

Hey,
Can you not overwrite my emoticons.txt file. Every time Digsby updates I have to bring the file back from a backup.
Apart from that, I’m loving Digsby.

I’d been using the new Facebook since the start of July and never had any problems logging in though Digsby.
What was the new update from Sept 18th?

Could you provide an option on digsby to login to facebook without opening a new window ?
When login to facebook and opening a new window is not comfortable way for me.

^^and the linux build? Running Digsby via Wine works, but not fully and besides that..it’s not really streamlined with the rest of my platform and just typically is unusable through Wine.
I’m anxious to get rid of Pidgin.

Fellow beta testers. Don’t forget you have to restart digsby to get the auto-update.
