Twitter Issues
Twitter has been experiencing server-side issues with their system so they temporarily lowered the limit of requests applications can make from 70/hour to 30/hour. You can adjust your request levels by double clicking on your Twitter account in preferences and choosing “Advanced” - otherwise you will hit rate limits and not receive updates.
They have also created a website where you can monitor their status and they will announce when the limit is brought back to 70/hour on there: http://status.twitter.com.

I’d like to see support for Twoorl (which is a Twitter clone) since Twitter has been so unreliable lately.
It’d be a good way for you guys to add another service and very quickly since it’s just a clone of Twitter!

Thanks for the heads up about Twitter, i Don’t know where the wish list of features is but I have 2 small ones..
Coming from trillian, it had text notification of when people go away/sign off/on etc in the conversation, I feel dumb on digsby when I reply to the IM when the person has already signed off, which I can only know by having to check the contact list (I dont like pop up notifications).
Also, when you hover over a contact can you add online time to the buddy info? Thanks so much, Digsby is the killer app of 2008!!

Ignore the 2nd part I said, I meant to say “Last time seen online” not online time, my mistake!!

@Boris - You should be getting the notifications in the IM window but they are buggy. Should have them fixed shortly. We’ve had quite a few requests for “last seen” and will probably add this in the future.

It would be nice, if I could set the notifications per buddy(like in Pidgin, eg.: XYZ is online!).
Do you plan to put this feature in the program?
Steve Said,

@Levente - yes we will be adding that in the future
