MSN Servers are Down
The MSN buddy list servers are down so you will not be able to log in MSN Messenger. You may be able to log in with the official client because it caches your buddy list on the hard drive. We will let you know when we see the servers come back online.
Update: It looks like they fixed the issue pretty quickly. MSN should be able to connect now.

maybe this is why many friends that I’ve told about Digsby and got them to install it, can’t.
Don’t know where to post… I want to import my buds onto Digsby for my windows live account, yet it’s not in the list ONLY hotmail.

yeah I’ve been having problems with MSN too. It connects, but the person(s) on the other end do not see me as online, or vise versa, so its like digsby is lying when it says its connected. hehe

I think that since 3 days, the chat @ facebook don’t works.
I can actually log me on facebook (and digsby gives me my messages, pokes, etc. ..) but not on the chat ! I am the only one in this situation ?

@MiKE - should be working fine. Click Help > About Digsby and make sure you have 14938 or later.

Digsby have never fixed the problem with firewalls to connect to MSN. All of us that are at the office can’t connect to the port muser.messenger.hotmail.com:1863 becauser we’re behind a router. So sorry for digsby because is clearly a good product.

I concur with leopinzon - I’m behind a router / firewall at the office. No connection to MSN. At home, no probs.
Digsby is a great piece of software, it’s a pity I have to run MSN Messenger alongside it…

@Oskar - We are working on adding an HTTP connect method to MSN that will get through the firewall / router / proxy. It will be pushed within a few builds.

I don’t know why I don’t see any preview of my Live! mails. It only tells me how many mails are there and don’t show me any preview. But other mail operators are working fine. Do you have any clue why this is happening?

@Omi - It is due to a change in the Hotmail protocol. This is fixed and will be pushed in the next update.

ok i have one problem i sign in to my hotmail ID which is ruthann579@hotmail.com it say that it is loading contact list but all now it is still loading contract list.
please tell me what to do since i download digsby yesterday and i like it it working fin except for hotmail ID that is still loading contract list

MSN servers have been down or on and off for the last two days.
Most of today July 20 they are down and cannot be reached even at:
http://suport.msn.com
Cannot sign into Hotmail, Live Mail or Live Business accounts on any of our 3 computers.
We are experiencing some up time but mostly down. Down at this time. Unfortunately we have web site on them too!!
