I heard about this from lifehacker via meebo. I've replaced Gaim with Digsby.

One bug I noticed is that Google Talk doesn't seem to connect on Digsby. Are the settings of "talk.google.com" and port 5222 correct?

Keep up the good work.

Just wanted to say, great little app you guys have here! I found it via the LifeHacker post and love it!

It's replaced Live Messenger and GTalk running on my computer, as well as the Facebook and Twitter widgets on my Netvibes homepage that always took an age to load.

The tabbed chat is really well organised and the popups in the bottom corner are a great way to stay involved with chats, while not switching windows and losing your focus when working.

Great work!

The biggest problem I have with this and other 3rd party IM service is entering my credentials, thus giving you access to my email, IM, etc. How do I know my credentials are safe and encrypted? Think people!

I never heard of Digsby before the article on Lifehacker, and that is a shame. It is clearly the best IM client available--at least for my needs.

@JN - we just launched two weeks ago... give it some time

@kobraboy - absolutely, and you can take actions such as "Report Spam" or "Mark as Read" right from the notifications we give you

@Robert - bug 1 is already fixed and will be pushed in the next auto-update, as for bug 2 email us at bugs@digsby.com and we will figure out what is going wrong, portable version coming soon as well
