Build 52 – MySpace is Your Space

We just pushed an update to all users (Build 52, r21443) which fixes a few bugs that were introduced in the last release and also includes a patch for a change in the MySpace protocol. Notable changes include:

  • MySpace newsfeed is back (protocol change patch)
  • Fixed two bugs that caused incoming IMs to not show in rare cases
  • Fixed a bug that caused plugins like LinkedIn and “Listening to” not to load

If you experience any bugs please use “Help > Send Bug Report” in the main menu to submit a diagnostic log or email us at bugs@digsby.com.

@Younus: You can click “Video” at the top of the IM window to have either an audio or video chat with your buddy.

Twitter (via Digsby) is no longer updating my Facebook statues. My settings are exactly the same as they where when everything was working.

Ok got it. Why does it have to load from internet? Why isnt it a built in feature? Also when people on gtalk or yahoo try to make voice call nothing shows up in digsby.

One more thing the sms button is not working properly. Pressing it twice does not remove sms bar.

Is it possible to get visibility / invisibility status divided from the whole so that I can be visible on msn messenger but invisible on google chat? etc.

Double clicking a Hotmail EMail Account doesn’t sign in automatically & show the inbox.

It redirects to the login page where you have to enter the password again. This didn’t happen before, but is a bug in this build. Kindly fix this bug…

Have the same problem as “Arjun”. No longer automatically signing into hotmail, but getting the login page.

@Anon: There was a small protocol change with the Hotmail auto-login servers. This issue has been fixed and will go out in the next update.

@ Digsby – I’m still waiting for the “Individual IM Status” feature – A request that I made to you during the release of build 51.

I also see that SM(posted above – April 12, 2009 @ 9:27 am) is also interested in this feature & I’m sure many users would be interested too.

I hope you are working on it & would be available soon to us.

Any update on my request would be appreciated.

@Arjun: Using the status dropdown you can choose “Custom…” and in there set different statuses for each IM account. However, we can definitely make it easier to set status for an individual account.

is it possible to stop delay focusing on MySpace for a minute and implement something that’s actually important, like direct connect in AIM?
