@Paul: The fix was pushed to non-alpha testers. A new alpha release will go out shortly.

Hi!

My IM adresses are public as I use them for professional purposes. You may imagine how much spam and other harassments I receive each day so I use the block user feature A LOT. But when I block a user using Digsby nothing happens and the spammer keeps sending me messages. For this reason, I had no reinstall MSN and Yahoo Messenger, just to block a few spammers.

Also, I can't wait for the user search feature. The type-and-go feature does not work as I need, because sometimes I have to locate people by their addresses instead of user names and I have more than 500 contacts by now.

Finally, the file transfers feature is working erratically. Most of the time, people won't receive my file transfer requests and I will not receive their requests too.

Hope you solve these little bugs quickly because I can't wait to uninstall every other IM software in my PC

thank you,

As the version number is higher than the current build sent to 'alpha' testers, for those who use myspace newsfeeds, is it worth removing/renaming the tag.yaml file to get the fix? Also, any news on bug #50243? Steve said it was fixed and would go out in the next release, but nothing on the changelog... (and it's still broken)

I imagine that's what he means. It's especially annoying if you have your taskbar autohide (nice for widescreen monitors). But on the other hand it would be nice if there was some not-too-conspicuous mechanism to remind you if you were to turn it off. (the popup is nice, but easy to miss if you're focusing on something else) I can't think of anything that would work off-hand though.
