Build 47 – Hotmail Fixes
We just pushed a new release (Build 47, r20382) to all non-alpha users. This release is a small patch, which adds support for the new Hotmail. Another release will go out later today to ALPHA testers with these fixes.
If you experience any bugs please use “Help > Send Bug Report” in the main menu to submit a diagnostic log or email us at bugs@digsby.com. If you have any suggestions, please email us at features@digsby.com.
As always, thank you for all the feedback and enjoy the new build. Remember to invite your friends to use Digsby via Email or Facebook.
Update: The alpha release will go out tomorrow morning.

something still seems wrong, it just wouldn’t log in. and Live Messenger doesn’t work either. It just gets stuck at Loading Contact List.. and that’s it :\

Thank you! Fixed not only the failing to connect, but the error where when it did connect, it showed all the senders as “None”

working great for me, but does this new release fix the contact-list-not-saving bug? i don’t want to fix my contact list and then find out the hard way

@Anna: In the alpha yes, in the release no. However, if you exit after renaming it will save. That fix will go out in the next public release.

Are there any ways to secure messages on Diggsby? We currently use brosix as our im client because we need tight security intra-office. But I am intrigued by the multi-protocol opportunity that Diggsby represents.
I’m not a fan of having 3-4 im clients open all at once. At the office we only allow brosix (for security and productivity purposes), but a secure, multi-protocol instant messenger could sure be useful for management. Thoughts?
