Digsby is great, but I cannot connect to MSN. It worked fine for awhile, I even tried another similar App but it said the "MSN servers are temporarily unavailable." Yet, Windows Live Messenger connects fine.

2 things: will you be adding LinkedIn support? Also, there is an app called Pronto, used for educational institutions that I'd love to see support for. Hate having to run 2 messengers, even if it will only be for the duration of 1 semester. Continuing education is important, ya know.

Otherwise, I'd like to commend you guys on a job very, very well done. We look forward to future releases and plan on making this a pick of the month in June on our site. Down to a man / woman we've all ditched Miranda, Pidgin, Trillian and whatever the hell else we had running in favor of this app. Again, excellent work.

I'm behind corporate proxy. Digsby just doesn't connect but always fails with msg 'Failed to connect'.
I've given the proxy details in connection settings, still no use.

The same work fine when i'm connecting from home (obviously!)

1. What else could be wrong? Can you give detailed procedure to setup proxy details in digsby
2. Is there a possibility that digsby is blocked by the proxy (what the url and port digsby connects to, when loggin in)?

Having Yahoo Messenger connection problems.

It will not connect due to firewall internally here. I have tried ports 5050, 80, 443 and several others suggested, with no connecting. I had the same trouble with Trillian.

I can get Messenger on its own to connect by saying that we use a firewall, no proxy . . .

Any suggestions?

Love Digsby so far!

I have not had many problems with Digsby, but that strange MSN IM bug still seems to exist. I can IM again only after a restart of Digsby, but after a while, it does happen again.

I am really impressed with this program. It is the perfect way to keep in touch and be notified of new things instead of having to constantly check. I just take a quick peek at what my friends did for the day via the Facebook feature of Digsby, and my e-mail is checked just as quickly!

I can't seem to get the link to suggest features to work, so I'm posting my only suggestion here.

I'd like to see how Digsby links to gmail messages changed. When I click on the message it takes me to the email in the minimalist view, which lacks an archive button. The email then also disappears from Digsby's list, so I have to open up my inbox in a browser and archive the email from there.

The new email lets you link to messages so that they will be displayed in the standard gmail view instead of that old message-only view. I'd much prefer to have my emails open with all the typical gmail controls around them. Maybe then I could stop leaving my inbox open in a firefox tab once and for all.

@Brett - we did this intentionally so you are not bombarded with popups. Perhaps we will add a separate notification for widgets so you can choose whether or not to receive them.

@eia - haha we were going to push one but there is some proxy stuff we still need to resolve and we want to get it into this update. Perhaps an update during the weekend if we can wrap this up quickly.
