hi, i have to say my usage of digsby has declined alot in recent months, maybe its because the whole software seems so bloated now? i use to enjoy the lightweight and fast connecting. I think an option to include and exclude certain Im features would be useful

For example, i dun ever use facebook, twitter , in fact all i use is msn and yahoo. so all that are ueseless to me and if u guys can make it a Option and it helps speed up the program, it's worth working on. Pls dun turn into another crapware, keep digsby on what it;s always about, a lightweight and easy to use program.

Thank u

Agreeing with vitor. I'm using Digsby running in a virtual machine right now with Jolicloud as my host OS. Pidgin and Empathy just don't cut it. The lack of features in both of them is disappointing. Digsby blows them away. I'd at least like to see a version out that's more compatible with Wine, as that's being adopted as a good method to run Windows programs under Linux. It's not perfect, but it'd work.

My god guys. What were you thinking with all the crapware, hompage changements and subtly adding research modules for god knows what. Thanks for being honest and transparent. This is why no votes from me this year. I would next time think twice before sneaking things behind users' backs! Very unhappy user at the moment!

Quick note: I wanted to comment on the twitter idea but I can't anymore because comments are closed.
Further, I do hope that digsby auto subscribes me to the comments so that in the event that it does receive a response, I know about it. It would be nice to remove that option as well.

Re: Twitter
At first I was a person who was like I can't believe they are not using the multi-column idea but then thought, it's pretty nice focusing on just the important people and segregating the real value ones from the ordinary chatter.

It would be nice to see it integrated with lists. Nearly every twitter client I use, they want me to create new groups without allowing me to search through my followers when adding them. This makes it all the more work. It turns me off them.

One reason I don't use digsby is because my lists really have most of my important clients on twitter, and until that implementation gets broader in digsby, I'll still be opening tweetdeck and seismic.

The entire argument for buying a Mac anymore is a strawman fallacy masking a desire to buy a fashionable and trendy brand. A portable Digsby would be sweet, can't wait for something like that to come out.
